The transition from a high performing technical employee to leader can be challenging. As an engineer early in my career, I had to be technically sound and efficient and accurate with analysis. As a leader, I had to teach, console, and motivate my employees. Success for me was no longer the result of just my work product. It was based on my ability to facilitate the performance of others. As a coach, I help technical leaders adapt existing skills and turn on new skills to succeed in leadership. We also work on values and how they show up in leadership.

As an entrepreneur and small business owner, I understand the challenges that come with starting, running and building a business. As a coach, I have the unique opportunity to work with other entrepreneurs and small business owners to help them work through those challenges and get their businesses to the next level.

Meet Coach Kyle
I am a lifelong resident of the D.C. area, with an Engineering degree from the University of Maryland and an MBA from University of Maryland Global Campus. I’ve spent nearly two decades working as an engineer, project manager, and leader in the energy sector. I have experience working in diverse companies ranging from a Fortune 200 corporation, a mid-sized local business, and tech startups. In each of these work settings I have found common strategies that cultivate personal and corporate growth and success. Throughout my personal life and career, I have had an inherent knack for guiding friends, family, and co-workers through myriad challenges to self-actualize their next level of success. This long developed talent of fostering and supporting others to overcome perceived obstacles, coupled with my delight in seeing others succeed led to my decision to dedicate myself to career coaching. I humbly appreciate the opportunity to work with you.

These days, it feels like we are in an energy war. I don’t mean global conflicts over physical resources. I’m referring to the conflict over the energy that resides within you and guides you. Everyday, something is challenging what we thought we knew about ourselves and our organizations.
